Michael A. Haberman, president of Gradall Industries, has been named 2017 chairman of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). AEM is a North American-based international trade group providing business development resources to advance the off-road equipment manufacturing industry in the global marketplace.
Elected AEM officers work on behalf of all member companies, giving their time and talent to provide strategic direction in the areas of public policy, market data, and exhibitions, as well as technical, safety and regulatory issues and education/training.
With over 30 years experience in the mining and construction equipment field, Haberman holds expertise in sales, marketing, distribution development and industry innovation. After joining Gradall, Haberman has held various executive positions prior to becoming president of Gradall Industries, formed as a stand-alone company under the ownership of the Alamo Group in 2006.
