Gradall Industries Releases Video Featuring Historical Excavator Footage and Insiders' View of Manufacturing
Gradall Industries, Inc., has released a new video providing an in-depth look at the development of its excavator products, including an up-close tour of the New Philadelphia, Ohio, manufacturing facilities. The 12-minute video features the state-of-the-art manufacturing processes that produce world-famous Gradall excavators — the only excavators manufactured exclusively in the U.S.
Further, the video includes a brief overview of the history of Gradall excavators, including scenes recorded as far back as 1946. Also included is a summary of the various Gradall excavator products being produced today for governments and contractors, as well as for mining and railroad markets and for steel, aluminum and copper mills.
“The video was produced primarily to provide insight to our customers and distributors who have never visited our plant,” said Mike Popovich, Vice President of Gradall excavator products. “But it also will be used by our Human Resources department to familiarize new hires with the company and its culture, and we think it will interest people who are curious about Gradall excavators or construction equipment in general. In the very early years, Gradall introduced hydraulic power concepts that ultimately were put into use by equipment manufacturers around the world.”
